At Yum Bug we turn insects into delicious foods people love and recognise like burgers, mince and nuggets. Our bug-based foods aren't just great for the planet but are also great for you with about 30% more protein than beef.

Role
As a member of our challenge team, you will be helping us produce edible insect challenge samples. Working closely with our small team to manufacture and ship them to nominated challengers and influencers.
You’ll be:
Completing a Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety Certificate for Manufacturing,
Filling and heat-sealing flavoured crickets into small sachets,
Attaching sachets to printed flyers,
Labelling and packing flyers for shipment,
Jumping into help wherever we need a hand.
What you need to do the job effectively:
Believe insects are the future of food, and have a strong desire to help create a more sustainable food system,
Eye for detail and following strict food safety practices,
Tidy and very organised,
Amazing people skills, helping to create a positive working environment between the challenge team,
Flexibility around working schedules.
Bonus (but not at all essential):
Knowledge of food safety practices,
Experience working in commercial food production,
Level 2 or above food safety certificate in manufacturing.
