Serves - 2

Cricket / Buffalo Worm Powder - 30g

Almonds - 100g

Dates - 200g

Raw Cacao powder - 2 tbsp

Coconut Oil - 1 tbsp

Almond Butter - 1 tbsp

Desiccated Coconut - 30g


1. BOIL | 10 mins

  • Bring a pan up to boil and add the dates.

  • Boil for around 10 minutes until the dates have softened. Drain water and leave to cool. 

2. BLITZ | 5 mins

  • Add the almonds to a blender and lightly blitz them. This will make the almonds easier to blend with the other ingredients. 

  • Add the boiled dates, lightly blitzed almonds, coconut oil, almond butter, cricket powder and desiccated coconut.

  • Give it a good blitz until it’s smooth and well combined. 

3. BALLS | 5 mins

  • When the mixture has become soft and slightly sticky roll it into balls.

  • Dunk the balls in desiccated coconut (to get the best coverage you may want to slightly wet the outside of the balls with water – works a treat).

  • If you can refrain from eating them immediately, you can store them in an airtight container. Or you can do what we did and inhale them right away. 🤘
