FLUFFY BUFFALO WORM PANCAKES


These pancakes are not only light and fluffy but high in iron and protein – perfect to get your day started, or as a cheeky desert! They are decorated with maple syrup, strawberries and blueberries.

INGREDIENTS


Buffalo Worm Powder - 30g

Vanilla Bean Paste - 6g

Baking Powder - 10g

Cinnamon - 5g

Plain Flour - 255g

Sugar - 4 tbsp

Milk - 260ml

Eggs - 2


Optional Toppings:

Mixed Berries

Banana

Peanut Butter

Maple Syrup



METHOD


1. DRY INGREDIENTS | 2 mins

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the buffalo worm powder, baking powder, cinnamon, flour and sugar.


2. WET INGREDIENTS | 2 mins

  • Add in the vanilla bean paste, eggs and milk and beat together with a whisk until everything is well combined.


3. COOK PANCAKES | 10 mins

  • Lightly oil a frying pan on a medium heat, add one ladle of batter at a time, aiming for about 6 pancakes.

  • Wait until the top of the pancake begins to bubble, then turn it over and cook until both sides are golden brown and the pancake has risen.


4. PLATE UP | 1 min

  • Stack your pancakes and top it off with whatever you fancy - we went for a cheeky drizzle of maple syrup and scattering of fresh berries. Ooo yeah!
