STICKY FIVE SPICE CRICKET STIR FRY
Time: 30 minutes
Sunflower Oil – 1 tbsp
Fresh Ginger – 15g
Spring Onions – 3
Five Spice – 1 tsp
Garlic Cloves – 3 cloves
Red Chilli – 2
Soy Sauce – 1 tbsp
Rice Wine – 1 tbsp
Honey – 1 tbsp
Sesame Oil – ½ tsp
Egg Fried Rice
Slice the spring onions up, separate the white parts from the green.
Finely dice the ginger, garlic, and chilli.
Heat the oil in a pan on a medium heat, add the white parts of the spring onions, ginger, and garlic.
When it’s fragrant, add in the crickets and stir fry for one minute.
Turn p the heat and add all the five spice, chilli, soy sauce, rice wine, and honey.
Stir fry until it thickens and gets sticky then remove from the heat and add the sesame oil.
Serve with your choice of vegetables and rice!
